After spending a lot of time recently working on a new sound while touring the Netherlands and Nigeria. Birmingham-based rapper, Downside24 is back on home soil, doing what he does best, ready to release his latest track with a summer banger called, “Miss me” ft Raysmusik. The catchy euphonious track is also produced by Super Producer Ayobeatz, whom he colaberated with in Summer 2021 on their hit song “Tek a Piece”.
Downside24 is one hundred per cent picking up from where he left off, after a life event almost left him facing the rest of his life unable to speak and even facing a battle for life itself.
Downside24 was riding the crest of a musical wave in the UK when he received devastating news. Diagnosed with thyroid cancer, the rapper and Entrepreneur knew that even if he survived his battle, he potentially faced the rest of his life unable to speak, let alone rap. After surgery to remove both thyroids and radiotherapy, Downside24 felt like his life was over, his life changed forever and a lifetime of medication ahead.
Motivated by his love of music and the support of Family, Friends and supportive Fan’s around him, Downside24 is back sounding better than ever!
Combining elements of UK ,Afrobeatz and Jamaicanroots sounds , it sees Downside24 teaming upwith Raymusik and Ayobeatz creating a sound which is as fresh and cutting-edge as ever. “Miss me” with the catchy chorus is expected to get high in the charts.
Downside24 will be touring Nigeria, Netherlands and Mexico in the summer were he as accumlated a very large fan base. U.K wise, he s currently touring with Ayobeatz and Wes Neslon.
